A Fresh Chapter: Unveiling Our New Brand Identity!

There comes a moment in every journey when it's time to evolve, embrace change and reaffirm our commitment to the future. It brings us immense pleasure to introduce you to our exhilarating new rebrand! Stay tuned for the excitement, and join us as we embark on this thrilling new chapter, crafted with the same heart, but with a fresh face.

The ebbs and flows of a company's journey are punctuated by moments of reflection, innovation, and transformation. Today, as we pen this blog post, we stand at one such significant juncture in our story.

This evolution of our business isn’t just about a new logo or colour palette; it’s a reflection of our continued passion, our innovative spirit, and our promise to remain at the forefront of our industry. This rebrand signifies more than just aesthetics; it represents our dedication to growth, our renewed vision, and our commitment to delivering unmatched value to our valued clients, partners, and stakeholders.

A Brief History

Since we launched, nearly 25 years ago, we have operated under the name of Professional Properties which has been built from the ground up by Daren and Susan Cope and the help of their team, and in particular, Simon Joyce, our Derbyshire lettings guru.

In April 2022, Professional Properties acquired Amber Homes, a family built estate agency based within North Derbyshire which allowed us to expand our operating area and build our brand further. In June of 2023, we merged the full lettings portfolio of Amber Homes over to Professional Properties so that our team could work more efficiently under one roof.

We have been fortunate to have built great relationships with the landlords and tenants of Amber Homes and look forward to you all joining us on the next part of our journey!

In 2021, we launched James Cope Homes, offering a more bespoke estate agency service throughout Derbyshire and East Staffordshire, headed by our Sales Director, James Cope. This brand has gone from strength to strength since its launch and we can't wait to see what our sales team are going to achieve going forwards.

Also in 2021, and we launched Alumni Homes, a sister company to Professional Properties for our student portfolio; the name owed itself better to the market and it has allowed us to expand even further into the student market.

We are proud to introduce our new brand; Cope & Co.

Changing the name of an established business to our family name isn’t some egotistical or narcissistic journey that we’re on, far from it. It is a name that we all feel encompasses who we are, both as a team and as a business.

Why Rebrand?

As we've already said, branding isn't just about a logo, a catchy tagline, or a colour scheme. It's the essence of who we are, what we believe in, and how we communicate our values to the world. Over time, as our company has grown, diversified, and explored new horizons, our identity too felt the need for an evolution—a reflection that resonates with our current ethos and the path ahead.

What’s New?

Without giving away too much (because where's the fun in that?), we promise that our new brand identity is both refreshing and deeply rooted in our foundational values. This isn't about reinventing ourselves but rather amplifying the core strengths that have always been part of our DNA.

Behind the Scenes

Our rebranding journey wasn't undertaken on a whim. Months of introspection, brainstorming, and collaboration with some of the brightest minds in branding and the property industry led us to this moment. We listened to feedback, reminisced about our milestones, and got extremely excited about the possibilities for the future.

What This Means for You

While our look might be changing, our unwavering commitment to our clients, partners, and community remains steadfast. This rebrand symbolises our pledge to always evolve and innovate, ensuring we deliver the best while staying true to our essence.

Join Us on This Exciting Journey!

We're more than eager to share our new brand identity with all of you. In the coming weeks, you’ll witness the transformation across our platforms, products, and communications. We hope it resonates with you as much as it does with us.
